"Kind words"
I 1st borrowed the audio from my local library. Don't be deceived this seems hokey but it isn't, if you're feeling dispirited, depressed, I really encourage you to just try this. I reccommend you play it at bedtime, softly, not too loud. The cons is the music. It's weird, just awful, not gonna lie. It's a mix of 70s sitcom theme/after school special/elevator music weirdness. When my anxiety was high, the music was distracting. But, I found that when I just focused on the affirmation, really allowed myself to hear each word, the music wasn't as much a distraction. Focusing on the affirmations became a mediation. The result was I'm able to better quiet my mind. This inadvertently has helped my mediatation practice. A few days in, I felt lifted, better. After exhausting my library borrowing priveleges, and seeing how much better I felt, I was moved to purchase this. It's really a great tool to help build self-esteem. This was a balm for my soul when I most needed it. Try it. I wish you peace & happiness.
(p.s. I also recommend you read Happy This Year by Will Bowen.)
