I always like the audio edition better because it gives me the opportunity to finish it much faster because I get to listen to it in the car and on my walks.
It's similar to many King books in that it is a wonderfully written story about every day people with every day issues but there is something very evil lurking underneath. It's a story about choices we make and people we associate with. Sometimes, the less we know, the better.
He's a great narrator. His voice fits the characters very well.
Is death really the end?
Stephen King is a master at describing complete evil while talking about a beautiful sunrise. He proves that you don't have to involve a lot of gory detail to write horror. No one else can do it quite like he can. I hope he's already working on his next book.
I was skeptical about a romance thriller. I usually like medical thrillers without all the romance and sex. But I must admit that I really liked it. She is very good at combining both a great mistery/thriller with juicy sex.
He did a good job with the characters but the distinguishing voices could've definitely been better.
I feel that I learned a lot of history
Never think that changing the past will result in a better today
This book for me was a little long. I did enjoy the story and the story telling but I prefer the creepier King books
It's a classic King with all the brilliant writing, great characters, fear, monsters...loved it all
I have not. I enjoyed his narration a lot
There are a few. Dr sleep of course and the little girl as well as Rose
I loved this book so much. Was sad when it was over
The narrator. Heather's narration style/modulation of her voice does not follow the story line. It is very annoying sometimes.
did not finish because the narration really got to me
Paying attention to the whole sentence and reading it according to what is being said. It is important to put emphasis where it belongs and to make pauses where necessary but not in the middle of a sentence where it doesn't make any sense.
I thought the book was funny, not hilarious, but it probably would've been better with a more experienced narrator.
This book had me laughing out loud! I found it so funny that I took it with me and let my clients listen to it while they were working out. Highly recommend, especially if you've ever lived in Texas.
Although nothing new in time management, I liked Laura's take on it. I liked her delivery and her humor in it. It was well-written, short enough to not get boring but long enough to get in all the information. I took quite a few ideas from it. Definitely recommend it.
If you're a Karin Slaughter fan and especially a Dr. Linton series fan, this is a great book. Different from the others but excellent.
When I first read the reviews I was a bit hesitant because it said that it went a lot more into Will Trent's past and I was worried it would be too boring. Not so at all. The book goes back and forth detailing the story of Will and the circumstances of his life, all weaved into a gruesome serial killer story. Absolutely loved it
