    For anyone who has felt out of place at a school conference or needed a social escape, this book will make you howl with laughter and smile with it's sharp and intelligent humor. Bee is a fantastic narrator amid mixed letters and dialogues between believable characters.

    So inspiring it makes you want to pull off the road while listening, strap on some running shoes and take the highway on two legs! Rich Roll honestly narrates his own book and has amazing depth and emotion throughout. We experience his awesome highs and his tragic lows. We cheer him on as he completes the Epic 5, and feel his wife's support and his resolution to stay sober. What an amazing book! I'll listen to it again if I start to lack gym motivation and I'll always here his voice in my head when I want to quit. "When you think you're done, your body is only at 40%, it's your mind that's holding you back." (or something to that effect). Absolutely incredible!

    There is no problem that a library card can't solve. The Andreas family is one of readers. Their father, a renowned Shakespeare professor who speaks almost entirely in verse, has named his three daughters after famous Shakespearean women. When the sisters return to their childhood home, ostensibly to care for their ailing mother, but really to lick their wounds and bury their secrets, they are horrified to find the others there. See, we love each other.

    It was a chick flick kind of book. You read it and afterwards you think, meh, same ol' same ol'. The reader is good, but her male characters have the same vocal inflection and it makes you think the girls' boyfriend's all sound like their dad. Weird, indeed.
    The Shakespeare quotes were fine, but nothing earth shattering. You'd think these characters would feel more connected to what they were saying instead of just throwing in lines into their everyday chit chat.
    It was bland, but entertaining in a sitcom kind of way.

    I loved the first book (The Happiness Project), but I could barely make it through the first half of this book because I found the reader to be TERRIBLE. Soft, whispery, she has a "self-help, slow talking" voice that made me miss Gretchen Rubin's intent completely. Sbe would be better suited to that Saturday Night Live NPR skit where she says "Good times, good times" over and over. Rubin read her first book and I was entranced by how real she was and how great her ideas came across in her own voice...this reader COMPLETELY missed the mark for me.
