"So good I bought the print version too!"
Some books are so good that you have to buy a hard copy to pass on. This is one of them.
"I was very disapointed by the end of the book."
If you're looking for a love story instead of a spiritual journey, you will probably be satisfied. Though it was well written and funny I thought this book would end with the author finding the meaning of life. It didn't, and I was left disappointed.
"This book is excellent, seriously."
I used to laugh at Goldie Hawn but I'm not laughing now. Who knew she was such an intellectual? I've read more books on mindfulness and neuroscience than I can count, very few of them are as good as this one. Thanks Goldie!
"This book ran on empty."
I'm used to the marketing ploy of using a British or Aussie accent to make the listener believe the author has a high intellect. It would take a lot more than that for this narrator to pull that off. The book should be a short pamphlet. Instead the author took flimsy information with little substance and stretched it into a book that I couldn't bear to finish. Don't waste your credit on this one!
"This book helped me understand my habits."
I haven't dropped all of my bad habits, but I have replaced a few of them with good ones. Overall this book is well worth the investment.
"Listen to that inner voice and buy this!"
Now you are one step closer to getting to know that little voice in your head. If you ever hear that voice and are unclear about following the advice, at least now you'll know who it is doing the talking. This book could save you years of therapy.
"Great governor, excellent author!"
This is an excellent recitation of the governor's view and he backs it up with facts. He is a common sense individual and it comes through in his book. Fortunately, he ends the book on a positive note. Caution: if your views lean to the left this book could make you think about some uncomfortable facts about your favorite politicians. Otherwise, it's a great listen that will help you see a way out of our current economic abyss.
"This is one of my best purchases on audible."
First of all it is an excellent book, but the author's voice is so soothing that his narration is icing on the cake. If you are a therapist you should read this book and if you are not a therapist it is even more important that you read this book. How could any of us escape childhood and being a teenager without cuts, scrapes, and bruises? Get ready because this book can put you on the road to freeing yourself of the pain, and it is never too late to begin.
"Glad I said Yes!"
My husband and son are big O'Reilly Factor fans so I had already seen Tanya in action. Her book is the perfect vehicle for her to go beyond the quick explanations that she gives on the show. With many of the audible books that are really good, I choose to buy the text for reference. I knew I'd be ordering this one right away. No buyers remorse here.
"Hard to finish."
This book was hard to finish, so I didn't. Nice to listen to maybe if your a fan of her books. Not helpful to me, since I'm not interested in writing or reading this kind of story.
