"Part two of the masterpiece"
Amazing story, period!
The diversity of the situations Kvothe gets involved with.
He give amazing life to all the characters. He is hands down the best performer of the once you'll find in audible
Made me laugh several times.
This story is going to have you on the edge all the time. All the parts have a meaning so be patient when it appears to drive away from the main plot. The Felurian part is wonderful! My only complain is why it was decided to divide the book in 2 parts? The other version found here is just one audiobook of forty-something hours so why not Degas' one? I could not help to feel that they want to leech more money from the consumers. It is still worth to pay for this version that is divided in two because Degas really injects something that the other performer cannot match. This is the only reason because I did not give it 5 starts on the overall category.
"Good Rhyme novel"
After some time yes. Was a good Rhyme novel. Not on the same level as Bone Collector but it was very enjoyable.
Other novels of the same series like the devils' teardrop.
I liked Emilia
Rhyme's back at its best
Good twists on the story, something I like in a Rhyme novel.
"One of the best fiction works I have listened to!"
The creativity of the story. It was just mind blowing
Difficult to say. Not so many contemporary fiction authors I know can pull this kind of story out. It is on the same line as TV series like Fringe.
The live he imprinted to the characters. The voice acting was amazing and the way he interpreted the funny parts really made a delight to listen.
Many. One of the best was the part of the discovery of the control room.
This would make a wonderful film. The story has so much potential. I was left with lots of questions at the end, many lose ends that we're not tied. This book could've been much longer, 12 1/2 hours felt short for the potential this idea has. Still, this doesn't take a star of the rating, this book rates there with the best of the best I have listened here.
One of the coolest things was how the author uses references that are contemporary to us, mentioning people from TV series like Fringe, actors like Bruce Willis or services like Netflix. And the humor was sharp, I was laughing a lot through the book.
"Really entertainment stuff"
Right there with the best, not quite, but almost
The chase to the climax of the story on the date the main event happened
Jake was really good
The past fights back
Te ending could have been better, but it was still really good.
"Not really what I was expecting"
A better storyline. I got the feeling that this idea could have been wonderfully developed, but it was not the case with this book.
No. I am always going to love fiction books, but this one was a particularly disappointing experience.
Good... Book didn't help
Disappointment
I have watched the TV series before reading the book. The series was canceled and I was thinking that the book was going to help at least lessening the pain because I think the series was very good, but the book was a complete disappointment.
"Good Lincoln Rhyme book, but not the best"
Don't think so. It was an ok story but far from the best compared with others from Lincoln Rhyme.
Yes, other Rhyme novels have been awesome
Katherine Dance was cool. She was the character I liked more on the book in every aspect.
Good, good but you will wish for more :)
I hope this story gets the conclusion it deserves. I will surely get the next book on the series just to satisfy my curiosity.
The narration is really good.
"Awkward: It's good, but the HBO series is better"
Huge & complex universe
The moral dilemma that its presented to Ned at the end when things happen to Robert.
No, but he is good giving life to each of the many characters in this huge universe
If you are going to play the game of thrones you either win or you die
It is an awkward feeling. I bought the audiobook because I was going to start to watch the HBO series and usually I try to read a book before watching the movie/series. Normally I end saying "The book was MUCH better, by a mile" but this time it was not like this. I really feel that the series is a masterpiece based on a good saga. There were some parts in the audiobook where I found myself expecting more, it was sometimes a little tedious. This never happened to me while watching the series.
The book is good, but do yourself a favor: Watch the series first. The drama is much more interesting followed on TV. If you read the book first you will not be so exited when watching the series, and that is a pity because they are THAT amazing. Then after you are finished with the TV series you can read the book so you fill into the history.
"Just average"
It was just average. Not so well spent compared to other titles I have listened recently.
I'll maybe give him one more chance.
I cannot pick a favorite scene from the hole book. It never made me say wow, never really surprised me.
This will not cut it into a good TV series. It would maybe cut it for an episode of CSI though.
I was disappointed. I was expecting a great crime story and found me an average plot. The ending was so predictable! I was misguided by the positive reviews of other listeners. It is the first time that I feel like this with a book that have received top reviews like this one.
"Simply amazing!"
The performance of Degas.
Beside Kvothe, Felurian, because what she brings to the story.
He give amazing life to all the characters. He is hands down the best performer of the once you'll find in audible

"A masterpiece!"
The plot is amazing. It is a story like no other. Kvothe is the real deal, a true hero.
There are many, but one of my favorites was when Kvothe won his pipes at the Eolian
He is amazing. He really gives life to the characters. I don't understand why his version of the audiobooks comes almost one year after the other releases. I hope this changes for the last book of the series. Of the 2 versions of the series found in Audible Degas' is hands down the best.
Get into the world of Kvothe, the one and only, the bloodless
This is the best fiction/adventure series I have read. if you enjoy the genre you HAVE TO listen to this.
