From farmer Joel Salatin's point of view, life in the 21st century just ain't normal. In Folks, This Ain't Normal, he discusses how far removed we are from the simple, sustainable joy that comes from living close to the land and the people we love.

Erin says: "Sometimes preachy, but informative"

If you could sum up Folks, This Ain't Normal in three words, what would they be?

Great book that puts common sense to a lot of subjects. I am a Soldier and will retire in a few years. I am totally convinced that I'm supposed to buy some land and start a farm. Thanks.

What does Joel Salatin bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

    Humor

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

What we are really supposed to be doing.

Every man was once a boy. And every little boy has dreams, big dreams: dreams of being the hero, of beating the bad guys, of doing daring feats and rescuing the damsel in distress. Every little girl has dreams, too: of being rescued by her prince and swept up into a great adventure, knowing that she is the beauty.

Would you consider the audio edition of Wild at Heart to be better than the print version?

I didnt read the print version.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Wild at Heart?

The explanations of boys being boys.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

What happens when you key men out of he cage.

    Any additional comments?

This book does a great job at explaining core values that are at the crux of the gender issue. The is a war on manhood in the United States and he literally tells how to combat it. I enjoyed this book from the prelude to the finale. Great work!
