The Sisters Grimm books are hits with young readers and critics. In their third outing, Sabrina and Daphne confront the menace behind the family's troubles, Little Red Riding Hood. After meeting their recently returned uncle Jake, the girls embark on a harrowing quest to reconstruct the mythical vorpal blade, the only weapon capable of killing Red's pet and bodyguard, the dreaded Jabberwocky.

Tina says: "Love it, major cliff hanger series."
    "more for adolescents than children"
    Overall

I've known parents who scolded their children for saying "butt-head," so you can imagine how multiple occasions of "Doody Face" written in indelible ink on the face of one character by another and referred to liberally in the narration might not be such a good example for children. Because of that and multiple other examples, I doubt that these books will become "classics." There are multiple occasions of potty humor and hideous images much more "suitable" for adolescents ... or even adults.
