Myron hasn't heard from Terese Collins in years. Not since their affair ended with no explanation. There had been no contact since, so her call catches him off guard. She's in Paris, she says, in trouble, and only Myron can help. She tells him a sad story she's never before revealed: a good marriage, her struggles to get pregnant, the happiest moment of her life when her only child was born, the day everything she'd ever loved was taken from her.

Karen says: "Highly recommend/but prefer Marosz over Weber"
    "I missed you, Myron"
    Overall

As usual Mr. Coben catches my attention and keeps me wanting more...the only downside of this book...I miss Scott Brick. Mr. Weber does a good job, but he doesn't seem to capture the true Win or Esperanza - or, I just like the characters I was first introduced to.

Louie Cogburn had spent three days holed up in his apartment, staring at his computer screen. His pounding headache was unbearable - like spikes drilling into his brain. And it was getting worse. Finally, when someone knocked at his door, Louie picked up a baseball bat, opened the door, and started swinging.

Charles says: "Where did Peabody's voice go?"
    "Another Great Eve Dallas Thriller"
    Overall

As per usual Eve Dallas, Peabody, and Rourke - et. al. are the at the top of their game...I only wish Ms. Ericksen had been. I was really disappointed that the character voices were so different for everyone (except Dallas and Rourke)....I felt like my friends had been replaced. I hope the characters return to themselves in the next installments.

Only three years old, little Melanie was kidnapped by her father. Six years later, police found her wandering the L.A. streets, her eyes blank. What had become of her in all that lost time...and what secret did she dare not even whisper?

    Homer says: "Troubling"

Excellent reading by Mr. Guidall of a story that rocks the soul! Who knows what happens in those unknown places by those unknown scientists...in the real world!

They died with smiles on their faces. Three apparent suicides: a brilliant engineer, an infamous lawyer, and a controversial politician. Three strangers with nothing in common - and no obvious reasons for killing themselves. Police lieutenant Eve Dallas found the deaths suspicious.

MARCIA says: "GOING BACK TO #4 AFTER LISTENING TO MOST RECENT"
    "Another Eve Dallas Triumph!"
    Overall

Creepy, catchy, Eve is at her usual best with new hubby Roarke by her side...it makes me wonder when we will see real things like this!
