This book reads like earlier Brown , the only thing that brings it into the present is the mention of an IPad. it has the twists that she does so well, but predictable. Marginally worth your time cash credit.
This is in the YA category but it has some edge, very similar to the Rhiannon Frater books but not quite as good, but still is worth the listen. I've listened to both books and I will get the next. If you like the genre it's worth your time cash or credit.
The story in this book is adequate , but the writing is questionable. The author added 4 letter words indiscriminately, I don't mind slang or cursing in the books I listen to, but in this book it was blatantly juvenile, and lacked any art. I prefer swearing with some finesse.
I can not recommend this book in audio, maybe the print works better,
If you do buy this book, it's your basic post apocalypse flu scenario but, then is gets very interesting. It takes on a whole new story line mid way, and it works. Excellent depressive and or gallows humor included. Worth you time cash or credit. Enjoy!
I read the premis and thought, could be interesting . Glad I took the chance. My serial killer /PSD allogory was sadly lacking before this. This book is a solid 3.75. There is also a YA book based on the same idea and I think I will get that also. Definitely worth your time cash or credit. Enjoy
If you liked the other books you will like this one. All of the children are growing up, and taking there places in the world, and with that they are about to get there own set of problems. The story continues..... Yeah!! Worth your time cash/credit.
The books they are all great and are well worth your time ,cash or credit. I look forward to more adventures with the Riyria. Very funny and a good story too. Great narration also.
When your waiting for the next Mark Tufo and the like to come out. I was plesantly surprised, not as gory or militarized as some books, but still worth your time, I'm getting the next one. A very solid 3stars but definitely not 4.
I am sitting here 4:28 am, with and overwhelming project and have a dirth of good books. The project must be done. I listen to audio books so I can get in the zone of creation....and I have nothing that sound good. But then the clouds break sunshines, and Mike Talbot is there to take me threw the darkest night and in to the light. Beyond my creative rescue the story is bang on with a great bite. Thanks Mr. Tufo, more please
Always a pleasure . Mr.gaiman never disappoints. He is also one of the best readers ever. Bravo, and more please!
All the way. Loved it. I listened to the whole book in pretty much one sitting. Gives new meaning to "skipping Christmas ". If your a sycophant for the genre worth your time cash/credit. Can't wait to see what else Mr. Hill comes up with.
