As dusk approaches a small Dublin suburb in the summer of 1984, mothers begin to call their children home. But on this warm evening, three children do not return from the dark and silent woods. When the police arrive, they find only one of the children, unable to recall a single detail of the previous hours.

Twenty years later, the found boy, Rob Ryan, is a detective on the Dublin Murder Squad and keeps his past a secret. But when a 12-year-old girl is found murdered in the same woods, he and Detective Cassie Maddox find themselves investigating a case chillingly similar to the previous unsolved mystery.

Where does In the Woods rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Audiobook was just ok. Enough to keep me interested.

If you’ve listened to books by Tana French before, how does this one compare?

    First book by Tana French

Did Steven Crossley do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

    Wasn't too crazy about narrator.

Considered by some to be the world's greatest novel, Anna Karenina contains two plots: the tragedy of Madame Karenina, in love with a man who is not her husband; and the story of Konstantine Levin, a sensitive man whose personal philosophy is Tolstoy's reason for writing about him.

    D. Littman says: "A classic, classically read"

Would you listen to Anna Karenina again? Why?

Yes, I will. There is so much going on, I'm sure I missed things and can pick up on them next time.

What does Nadia May bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Really enjoyed narrator. She kept it interesting
