Jim Collins presents an interesting analysis of what he thinks is necessary to be a great company.
I enjoyed the stories. There is a lot of information in this book that can bring about serious discussions. Would like to hear more books by this author.
I almost returned this book after listening to the first few minutes. There was quite a bit of talk about religion and an imaginary talk with the Devil, plus my bad memory of "Think and Grow Rich" where Mr. Hill says that he won't tell the secret. Let me say that the conversation with the Devil gives me a completely different opinion of Mr. Hill. The major point is to have a major definite purpose and that will lead to health, happiness and prosperity. It is lack of a major definite purpose that causes failure in these areas.
If you like free flowing talks about sex, libertarianism, magic and atheism spattered with no lack of obscenities, then this just might be the book for you.
If you are looking to find insights about atheism, what it means and if it's right for you, then you might want to look elsewhere.
I have several people that recommended reading this book. I am glad I listened to it. Great book.
