Willikins is undoubtedly the star of this novel

Mr Briggs is a very fine narrator and he once again doesn't disappoint

Long time Pratchett fan and I do consider Snuff to be one of his finest novels in the discworld series

He's a very monotone reader, and whilst undoubtedly a fine actor, this is not his forte

Thankfull the story is up to Mr Hills usual quality, but I won't be getting anymore narrated by Mr Glover

He imbued emotion and read well, with clarity and didn't just use a dull plodding monotone, would happily listen to him as a reader again.

Not really, it was pretty much utter bilge from start to finish. The only redeeming quality is that I didn't pay full price for my misery!

I wish that I had just read this book instead of listened to it, as it would have been over in a far shorter time.

To be honest I am not entirely sure why I bothered with it in the first place, it was either idle curiosity or masochistic tendencies...or most likely both!

Any book which has you expleting audibly in exhasperation more then once (even just once would be bad enough) really cannot be recommended.

Better proof reading of the manuscript. At one point Mr Wilkins is called Mr Jennings. Jennings becomes Jenkins, and 80p becomes half a crown and then becomes 80p again.

Jennings and Derbyshire themselves are always entertaining

He needs to cheer up, the problem was he read it like it was a James Bond novel not a tale of 2 school chums.

Disappointment, I grew up reading Jennings and this reading was just so flawed in so many ways,
