    Dickens. 19th Century America. Caring, Sensitive, yet stuck in the confines of his time. The piece about Easton prison so echoes the tale of two cities, you will shudder in horror.

    Realities of transportation illuminate the cultural realities of our country in that time in a way history cannot.

    Going from prison to poorhouse to orphanage from town to town is a funny but revealing way to travel.

    Read all the way to the post-script.

    Way too much time on biography and academic politics.

    Discussion of the concepts, theories and studies of Modern Economics is almost completely missing.

    People he agrees with seem to have led better lives than people he disagrees with.

    Worst part is that the book is formatted poorly for reading aloud. Long section headings precede topic sentences that repeat the content of the section heading and deprive the section of any surprises.

    I recommend you read something else.
