FBI Special Agent Kate O’Hare is known for her fierce dedication and discipline on the job, chasing down the world’s most wanted criminals and putting them behind bars. Her boss thinks she is tenacious and ambitious; her friends think she is tough, stubborn, and maybe even a bit obsessed. And while Kate has made quite a name for herself for the past five years the only name she’s cared about is Nicolas Fox - an international crook she wants in more ways than one.

    Story
Would you try another book from Janet Evanovich and Lee Goldberg and/or Scott Brick?

I love Evanovich's Stephanie Plum books, but this is not as funny. That said, there was some humor in the book, and I enjoyed the story. I frequently pick books because Scott Brick is the narrator, but he was not the right choice for this book. He was too serious and skimmed right over the humor in the book.

Would you recommend The Heist to your friends? Why or why not?

I might recommend the book to friends, but I cannot give it a rave review.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Scott Brick?

Lorelei King brings all of Evanovich's characters to life and highlights the humor in the books.

    Any additional comments?

I will be interested in seeing how these characters develop in future books, but I will probably read the next one and not listen to it.
