    Steinbeck is just not for me. This is the second novel of his i've tried to read/listen to, and he is just coarse. Lots of swearing, and no morals. I didn't finish the first one and this one lost me about chapter 4. If you could edit out all the swearing I might could get through it.

    Wouldn't recommend it to anyone. My young daughter's love Nancy Drew so we downloaded this book. It's definatly NOT the same. She had no morals and we didn't finish it.
