"My name is Megan Chase. In less than 24 hours, I'll be 17. Although, technically, I won't actually be turning 17. I've been in the Nevernever too long. When you're in Faery, you don't age. So while a year has passed in the real world, agewise I'm probably only a few days older than when I went in. In real life, I've changed so much I don't even recognize myself."

The 3rd book in the Iron Fey series is super. I don't want to write a long review, but this is the kind of book that I ache when I stop reading it. I wish I could read it all the time. I can't wait until the Iron Knight comes out in Nov! Khristine Hvam does a fantastic job reading. Loved every bit of it!

City of Fallen Angels take up where City of Glass left off. With Valentine out of the way, Clary thought she and Jace could finally be together--but when someone starts murdering the Shadowhunters who used to be in Valentine's Circle and leaving their bodies around New York City in a manner designed to destroy the new peace between Downworlders and Shadowhunters, she realizes the past can never be left entirely behind.

I liked the story overall, but these 2 narrators just don't cut it. Molly Quinn doesn't really change her voice between characters and she over enunciates most of the time to where there's a strange pause between words. It also seems like she didn't even listed to the previous audio versions of the books in this series because she pronounces names differently than Natalie Moore did, and that irritated me. Ed Westwick does a little better job. At least he tries to make different people sound different, but doesn't succeed most of the time.

Something has always felt slightly off in Meghan’s life, ever since her father disappeared before her eyes when she was six. She has never quite fit in at school…or at home. When a dark stranger begins watching her from afar, and her prankster best friend becomes strangely protective of her, Meghan senses that everything she’s known is about to change. But she could never have guessed the truth--that she is the daughter of a mythical faery king and is a pawn in a deadly war.
