"What a waste of money and my time"
I love this genre and have read many, many books along the same lines, but this was awful. It could not work out if it was fantasy, erotic or romatic. Full of cringe worthy scenes.
Please do not waste your time or money. Wish I had not
"So pleased I listened to book before seeing film"
Such an original idea, very well put together and delivered.
This series reminds me to Harry Potter and Twilight as in its ability to appeal to young adults and older alike.
Very enjoyable and a worrying view of human nature
"Naff cover interesting original twist/plot"
I purchased this free with a credit needing something for a long journey. Really interesting twist in the vampire genre with an even more interesting twist.
Alrerady put book 2 in my wish list.
Wont give the twist away but story set around young woman being attached and bitten, she is the only Human not to turn but instead to gain a few useful skills. She decides to take revenge on the whole vampire race by becoming a hunter. Her best friend is a fortune teller and the super hot friends brother is something?
She is commissioned to execute a sunwalker (thought to be a Vampire who could live in the sun) everyone tyhinks they are a myth. This story takes you though her journey to work through myth and truth and if true how she will find him?? I cannot tell you anyome without ruining it for you!!!
My only moan is that I like a narrator who brings her characters to life with their own voices and accents. There is ver little change in Emily Sutton-Smiths narrative : (
"Not totally sold will try another in the series"
There was an interesting sory line but could not work out if the author was trying to be funny, tounge in cheek or serious, she seems to change her mind from one chapter to the next
"It should be in the YA genre but somehow suits all"
Throughout the entire series I could not help thinking at 40ish this series was too young for me, then all at once something would happen and I was hooked again.
I would not say it was my favourite paranormal series off all time but was compelled to buy all books in the series to find out what happens and very pleased I did.
Well worth a listen, a very different take on the whole genre
"Fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
I have read and loved all of Molly's books. It took me a while to read this one as it it did not fall into the paranormal fantasy genre, but so pleased i did eventually and sooo pleased.
When I fould them on Audio books I could not believe they could be improved, but the have been by Amanda Ronconi. It is as if she is really living the story they way she puts a whole new dimension to the script. I will be checking out all her other narrations now
"Enjoyable series but for younger audiance"
I love all things vampire, werewolf etc so enjoy reading peoples reviews. Several people stated that this could be enjoyed by teenagers and adults alike. I disagree, whilst I really enjoyed the series and there are some heavier issues detailed it is aimed at teenagers or young adults.
"Monsters that really kick butt"
I have really enjoyed the whole series, very different to my usual genre.
Whilst the narrator is really good with this story line I found some of his characters voices very similar so could sometimes be confusing on which character was talking.
Unlike the other books in this series, this books chapters jumped backwards and forwards in time. I found this confusing and twice had to check I did not have the shuffle advice turned on.
All in all a good book and story
"Another great addition to the series"
Yes, some narrators that just give a book another dimension
There are some many different aspects to this story line it is difficult to compare it has it all, witches, vampires, fairies and demons.
Bringing the characters to life for me
On Hallowed ground comes love, friendship and survival
"Another greatbook in the Jane Yellowrock series"
This series just gets better and better, I cannot wait for the next instalment. I have listened to all these books rather than reading but I cannot imagine it could get much better. I love the way Khristine makes the characters come alive.
Jane for being sassy, brave and believing in herself
To hard to choose
I listened to it in one sitting and was then depressed it was over
