Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

This book was just ok. I like KLR's books, but this storyline is old, tired and too predictable. I just did not find the storyline believable.

An ordinary parking lot in southern California. Christine Scavello and her six-year-old son are accosted by a strange old woman. "I know who you are," the woman snaps at the boy. "I know what you are." A scream, a threat - and then a grotesque act of violence. Suddenly Christine's pride and joy, her only son, is targeted by a group of religious fanatics. They've branded him the Antichrist. They want to kill him. And they are everywhere.

    Story
If you’ve listened to books by Dean Koontz before, how does this one compare?

This is not one of the best. Is isn't because of the narrator, it is the content.

What does Angela Dawe bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The reader did a good job of drawing you into the story with her various voice changes and inflection.

Was The Servants of Twilight worth the listening time?

    Not really.

    Any additional comments?

I wish that he had done some due diligence before wringing this story. The child in this story is six years old and still in preschool??? However, the child is precocious and of normal cognition… This is the age of a first grader. This mistake is too big for an author as established as Dean Koontz.
