It is the greatest advance in American defense technology in decades - an attack submarine capable of incredible underwater speeds. Nothing else in any other nation’s naval arsenal even comes close. There is only one problem: A key element of the prototype is missing - and the man who developed it is dead. At the same time, ships have started vanishing mid-ocean, usually never to be found again, but when they are, sometimes bodies are found aboard... burned to a crisp.

Karen says: "Another great adventure for Dirk"
    "A bit too unbelievable"

What did you like best about Poseidon's Arrow? What did you like least?

Good idea behind the story, too much of Hollywood style action hero totally unrealistic

What could Clive Cussler and Dirk Cussler have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Keep the good plot but write it for adults rather than teenagers

Would you listen to another book narrated by Scott Brick?

    Perhaps

Was Poseidon's Arrow worth the listening time?

    Any book is

    Any additional comments?

Great movie material to rival James Bond

Could you survive on your own, in the wild, with everyone out to make sure you don't live to see the morning? In the ruins of a place once known as North America lies the nation of Panem, a shining Capitol surrounded by 12 outlying districts. The Capitol is harsh and cruel and keeps the districts in line by forcing them all to send one boy and one girl between the ages of 12 and 18 to participate in the annual Hunger Games, a fight to the death on live TV.

Teddy says: "The Book Deserves The Hype"
    "Great story, well narrated"

What made the experience of listening to The Hunger Games the most enjoyable?

I saw the movie so I had knowledge of the story but the audio book did not fail to entertain just as much, credit to the movie producers for nailing all the characters

What did you like best about this story?

The probability of it actually happening

Have you listened to any of Carolyn McCormick’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This was my first audio book so I can't compare but she did a great job introducing me to the audio book world and got me wanting more

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Hunger Games, a look at a probable future

    Any additional comments?

    Very good entertainment

Given the importance of what they do, and the controversies that often surround them, and the violent people they sometimes confront, it is remarkable that in the history of this country only four active federal judges have been murdered. Judge Raymond Fawcett has just become number five.... Nothing is as it seems and everything’s fair game in this wickedly clever new novel from John Grisham, the undisputed master of the legal thriller.

Would you consider the audio edition of The Racketeer to be better than the print version?

Did not read the book but I can say that the narrator could have used a little more energy

What did you like best about this story?

How everything untangles at the end

Which character – as performed by J.D. Jackson – was your favorite?

    None

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

No but it made me want to move to the islands

    Any additional comments?

Grisham books are always a good read and this one does not disappoint

Ken Follett's World Without End was a global phenomenon, a work of grand historical sweep beloved by millions of readers and acclaimed by critics. Fall of Giants is his magnificent new historical epic. The first novel in The Century Trilogy, it follows the fates of five interrelated families - American, German, Russian, English, and Welsh - as they move through the world-shaking dramas of the First World War, the Russian Revolution, and the struggle for women's suffrage.

Louis says: "Loved it and learned alot."
    "Great story, great narrator"

What did you love best about Fall of Giants?

The story itself and the rithm

What was one of the most memorable moments of Fall of Giants?

Billy with Jesus first day in the mine

What about John Lee’s performance did you like?

Clarity, voice and the Russian accent although it reminded me of Gru from Despicable me

If you could take any character from Fall of Giants out to dinner, who would it be and why?

Fitz, to see if I could change his attitude towards the "rest of the world" and show him you can be rich without thinking you are superior and that you can be superior without being rich.

    Any additional comments?

Great audible, almost perfect with the exception of some odd pauses at weird times that made me think the volume when off for some reason to then just resume.
