I am not sure if Smith found the Wander society as she claims or created it. It's a pretty genius way to market a book ( tell the reader they will belong to some secret culture when they buy it). Everyone has a need to belong and the secret bit just makes it exciting.

the books hypothesis is that wandering can "awaken new levels of consciousness" . I think it's referring to the psychological phenomenon of highway hypnosis. Why send money on a book to experience this? Just start taking walks.

Your child joins Ellen the Elephant on a journey through a magical forest that leads to sleep. Along the way, they meet different fantastical characters and have calming experiences that will help your child relax and slip into slumber quickly. The story works perfectly for either naptime or bedtime.

I was expecting a very light induction like his first book but this one put me full under hypnosis. I have tried many hypnotic recordings and only one other has better effects than this one and that one was 30 dollars from an NLP master.

My only complaint is that sometimes the volume changes in the story would bring me back up to full awareness and a warning for parents this book may be too complicated for very little kids it raised many questions in my cousin when I tried it with him. I think an added kids introduction that explains that the story is like a silly dream that takes place in a world where things work differently than in our world and that for the magic of the story to work the kid needs to want it to and just relax and listen would help

The bedtime story The Rabbit Who Wants to Fall Asleep has been called an entirely new type of sleep method to get children to sleep and has quickly become a success. Translated into several languages, this revolutionary story has helped thousands of parents around the world to put their children to sleep. By using psychological techniques and the specific way the book is written the children will often fall asleep, even before the story ends.

After reading about this online I thought I would try it for pain relief and sleep. It almost worked but the voice changes kept waking me up. Maybe I'll try again with the volume lower.
Overall the story was cute and the music in the background was really relaxing.

ok i like the idea of this but, seriously an hour a day manage? thats about what the audio length breaks down to. Also if you are in seminary or bible school and getting decent grades you can probably skip the first 5 mins of commentary.

Also the way this is packaged/priced makes this a waste of credits for members better to just pay the 3 dollars or whatever each time.

Finally, to the people managing audibles listing pages can you please relist the weeks in order.

  • Eat That Frog!: 21 Great Ways to Stop Procrastinating and Get More Done in Less Time

There just isn't enough time for everything on our to-do list - and there never will be. Successful people don't try to do everything. They learn to focus on the most important tasks and make sure those get done. They eat their frogs. There's an old saying that if the first thing you do each morning is eat a live frog, you'll have the satisfaction of knowing you're done with the worst thing you'll have to do all day. For Tracy, eating a frog is a metaphor for tackling your most challenging task - but also the one that can have the greatest positive impact on your life.

The book basically says to stop procrastinating by not procrastinating. If I could do that I would not need a how to book. Also, those from different ( non-western) cultures may find it odd that he suggests that the only way to work is to work and then play. I have a few close friends from other contexts who would point out that it is possible and more enjoyable to mix the two. And yes, it is possible to still be successful while mixing the two ( I am a B+ average student in grad school).
