    I don't mind spending hours reading or listening and I regularly like King's work. The depth of these characters is fantastic but the story is ho hum. Yeah, yeah. Aliens, 4 friends. Lots of military stuff. Just seemed to be lacking in plot. Demunn does a great job with all the characters, though.
