Imagine that your husband wrote you a letter, to be opened after his death. Imagine, too, that the letter contains his deepest, darkest secret - something with the potential to destroy not just the life you built together, but the lives of others as well. Imagine, then, that you stumble across that letter while your husband is still very much alive....

Would you consider the audio edition of The Husband's Secret to be better than the print version?

I did not read the book, but I do think that the audio version was done very well.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Husband's Secret?

A pivotal point after the secret is revealed.

What about Caroline Lee’s performance did you like?

    Her voice is amazing.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The day after the secret is revealed. That is one of my worst fears.

    Any additional comments?

I read additional books by this author to see if they were as good. She is a good read, fun, enjoyable and good for people who are interested in relationship type books. She gives many points of view which is good when reading a book about a subject that affects so many different people.

A luxurious yacht in the Sea of Cortez, a birthday cruise for one of the world’s most beautiful women and an invitation no one can refuse...The Power Trip - take if it you dare. From Hollywood icon and mega-seller Jackie Collins comes a thrilling new novel, The Power Trip, set on a state of the art luxury yacht off the coast of Cabo San Lucas. A tropical getaway with a cast of global power-hungry elites turns sour when they find out maybe they don't control as much of the world as they thought....

What did you love best about The Power Trip?

I always read Jackie Collins novels. She was the first novelist I read when I moved beyond young adult books. Her characters are always familiar and it is always an enjoyable and predictable trip. The best part about this book is that all the characters were new. Jackie Collins will sometimes move past characters into new books, and that is great at times, but it can become stale.

What did you like best about this story?

I like the ease of the story. It was easy to pick up and listen to, it is not great writing, more of a fun book.

Which character – as performed by the narrators – was your favorite?

I have never listened to any of Jackie Collins books on audible before. I was very excited when the narrator said that she would be voicing one of the characters. Ummmmmmm, Jackie Collins has an off putting voice. It did not make the story more fun. There was one other reader, a girl, who had a very stilted way of reading her character. Almost robotic. The rest of the cast was great. Overall it was an enjoyable book.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

That would be a lot of time with headphones. If I were driving in the car I would have listened straight though, but I can't ever imagine have that much time another way.

    Any additional comments?

Any reader who knows Jackie Collins know what to expect. A little bit Hollywood, some drama involving a bad guy, and people who fall in and out of love. She is a fun writer. Do not read her stuff if you are looking for anything more.

No one wants to be a victim, but most find the event too hypnotic to ignore. In order to save their traveling carnival from bankruptcy, the Binewskis are creating their own brood of sideshow freaks. Under Al's careful direction, the pregnant Lil ingests radioisotopes, insecticides, and arsenic to make her babies "special".

If you could sum up Geek Love in three words, what would they be?

    Intriguing, specific, unforgettable.

Which character – as performed by Christina Moore – was your favorite?

The mom. I found her to be the most confusing, and yet not entirely unlikeable.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

No, it was not really that kind of book.

    Any additional comments?

This book evidently has a cult following. The reason I chose it was because I had read a review in People magazine. Nora Jones had listed it as her favorite book, and when I read more about it, people were saying it is a book they have read multiple times. I am not in that cult. It was different, but not my kind of book. I recommend books if they are well written and have something worth saying. This is a book that has something to say. Not a waste of time, but not my choice of "must reads".
