Would you listen to Intelligence: A Novel of the CIA again? Why?

Yes I would READ (I don't listen to audiobooks, I read them--that's my explanation and I'm sticking to it!) this book again because it's a great story.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Intelligence: A Novel of the CIA?

The revelation the characters all discovered that FEAR and PANIC is a powerful weapon.

    Which scene was your favorite?

When Maddie J was testifying in court! She's a tough B!

If you could take any character from Intelligence: A Novel of the CIA out to dinner, who would it be and why?

Maddie J of course! She's a straight shooter who's eyes are no longer "wide shut".

If you could sum up The Power of the Dog in three words, what would they be?

    Historical, Intriguing, Informative

What other book might you compare The Power of the Dog to and why?

Savages and Kings of Cool. Because it dives deep into the Mexican cartel.

What does Ray Porter bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Great Narrator! There were a lot of characters in this book and he managed to keep them all straight and distinguishable.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No, wayyyy too long. I enjoyed taking my time with this. Sort of like watching a 13 episode tv show.

    Any additional comments?

Don takes you THERE in the environment, in the minds of the characters, and in the timeline. I enjoyed this journey.
