"Teaching of a multi-God"
Jesus Christ is reduced to another gifted man, just like Mohammad, Gandhi and other people of the ages. Even comparing Conner's gift to Jesus is a stretch since Conner's gift does not bring peace, and definitely does not bring people together. This story is the modern day religion that tries to parallel the real Jesus and attempts to bring another alternative belief to the Gospel of Peace. In the end it just brings more sorrow, to a world full of
Don't ever try to compete with the real Jesus and his message for mankind - the Gospel of Peace.
Richard is an excellent writer, as I have listened to other stories of his. He makes each character come to reality.
This is a very sad book, very disappointing.
"Good twists"
Reacher does it again. Even though the conclusion was a bit wimpy and some of the antics of dodging bullets seems unreal.
"Borrrring!"
What an absolute boring story line
Not this author
Very good Narrator's.
Sleep
I couldnt get past the first part 1 its sooo bad.
"Another good Reacher Story"
Yes it was worth it
The plot was very interesting
Very good
I had to listen to it the second time once I was finished so I could pick up all the detail I had missed. Very good listen and was exactly what I expected in Jack Reacher.
"What an awesome ending"
Oh ya but thats why im listening now instead of reading.
There was enough interesting events along the way.
He actually stayed away from having an illicit affair along the way, that showed grace. Yet his views and experiences along the way seemed fresh and inspiring.
"Loved it yet felt the anger"
Yes it was a refreshing story, even though it was a sad and very provoking story line. Life is that way though its not all perfect and what do we make of it despite that.
The reconciliation was so jaw clenching even though he didnt deserve it. His dad's way was so evil, and was so unrepentant, naturally I had to hate him. Grisham brought out that hate so well. Even though I didnt want to hate; then at the last Grisham even gave me just a glimse as his dad's thinking that created him to do such a horrible deed. I almost wanted to feel sympathetic to him.
Easy to listen to.
The pitch, oh the pitch! It was so wrong.
"Bad Narrator"
I loved these books but this one is horrible. The narrator is the most discusting speaker. I cant even get past the first chapter. I have tried and tried and finally gave up.
Only if the narrator changes
