This book brings together all the elements that make adventure stories so wonderful. I love the interesting characters and the landscape which itself is a character.
This was a fun story. I might not go through the whole series, but definitely would listen to another story.
I would of liked this book slightly better if it weren't for the unnecessary homophobia that crops of a few times. The main character's inner voice left me annoyed as well.
I love this book and highly recommend the series to anyone who loves classic adventure fantasy.
I loved this series so much, I'm reading the books after listening to them all on audio book. I'm recommending it to all my friends and family who love fantasy writing. I'm also thinking of adapting it to be a D&D campaign for my daughter and her friends.
I would recommend this to a friend for a fun read.
It was strong and I was compelled to continue the series.
I found the story uninteresting and tiresome.
I love Ann Rice, I would definitely listen to other stories.
I wasn't a fan.
This was the first time a audible book didn't keep me going.
Yes, the narration was wonderful and the story is always epic.
I love the Lord of the Rings trilogy and this was another chance to enjoy the story. The reading is easy to follow and deep in its character building.
I always like to hear an narrator do some voice changes for the characters and Rob Inglis was great.
No so full of detail, I needed time to absorb some of the story.
