In this illuminating and groundbreaking new book, food psychologist Brian Wansink shows why you may not realize how much you're eating, what you're eating, or why you're even eating at all.

    Overall

I enjoyed every minute of this book, and am on my third "reading". I have started eliminating the mindless eating from my diet, incorporated 4 new tactics, and find I enjoy my food (and drink) more and am increasingly aware of my hunger/satiety. A great book for those looking for lasting change. (Yes, I'm losing weight effortlessly). Love the descriptions of social experiments, and narrator's voice is easy on the ears.

Chantel Hobbs lost 200 pounds without the help of surgery, pills, point systems, or a trendy diet. And just as important, she kept the weight off. Her dramatic turnaround began with five decisions - personal, no-excuses commitments that kept her from losing sight of her goals. It worked for Chantel and it will work for you. Once you unconditionally change your mind your body will follow, and your life will never be the same.

    Overall

Chantal's story is moving and her honest discussion of her own struggle and success makes you like her despite her being skinny and beautiful. She tells of personal humiliation, and exhilarating victory and makes you want to follow her on that path.

The plan is very workable and easy to follow, her knowledge on the topics of diet and weight loss is current and insightful, and her motivating attitude is helpful to listen to at all times during your weight loss journey.

I don't, however, think the reading of exercise descriptions and instructions translate well to audio format, and could personally do without that portion. Overall, one of the best audiobooks I purchased thus far. Highly recommend.
