What made the experience of listening to To Seduce an Earl the most enjoyable?

The narrator is one of the best I've listened to (and I've listened to A LOT! lol)

    Any additional comments?

The storyline was interesting. I felt bad for Alex and, while I wanted him to grow a pair sometimes and stick it to Lady Lavendar, I understand why he didn't. Being forced into the live he was forced into at such a young age would have been hard on any man. His stuggles with self-worth are totally understandable.

In Victorian England, gossip is often as precious as gold. But the Highlanders are a more mysterious bunch. And if anyone found out what Stephen MacAlasdair really was, he'd be hunted down, murdered, his clan wiped out. As he's called to London on business, he'll have to be extra vigilant-especially between sunset and the appearance of the first evening star.

I've listened to this narrator before and liked him. Guess it was this author and her writing style. It just didn't do anything for me. I was too bored to finish it.

Would you listen to Deadly Pursuit again? Why?

Yes. It was a great story!

What did you like best about this story?

The suspense was good, and I loved the beginning relationship between the characters--very believable. I also enjoyed that it was clean without being too cheesy or preachy.

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

Better emotional inflection. There was no difference between when the characters were conversing normally or in the midst of an emotional crisis. It was also hard sometimes to tell the difference between some of the characters and it seemed the narrator changed his voices, and used the wrong voice for the wrong character which just added confusion.
