    What did you love best about The Hobbit?

    Very nicely read, it does take you into the story. I am really enjoying it.


    What does Rob Inglis bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

    His voice match the story perfectly. Very nicely done, different tones of voices for each character but all very interesting. Even singing the dwarf melodies, it is very enjoyable.


    Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

    I have not finish yet so I will say.

    The radio dramatisation of The Hobbit became a classic when it was first broadcast on BBC Radio 4 in 1968 and it continues to delight today. Tolkien's famous saga, the prelude to the Lord of the Rings, has all the ingredients of fantasy and adventure: dwarves, elves, goblins and trolls, a fearsome dragon, a great wizard, a perilous quest, and a dramatic climax.

    Would you try another book from J. R. R. Tolkien and/or the narrator?

    I like the voices, but for some reason it does not matches the book reading, it is a dramatized one, and I miss understood so one more I get that I don't get to enjoy again.

    What would have made Lover Eternal, The Black Dagger Brotherhood, Book 2 better?

    Book is good but narrator has been wrongly cast. Pardon me, but it seems to me that every time I choose the pay for a narrator it is always a 50 year old man or woman voice the one that get to do the job. It is a vampire book for god sake.. so this means that it needs to be a young, deep and powerful voice, yes it is a a very old vampire but they happen to be always blessed with very young bodies, and this guy is also warrior not a peaceful old man. Women are the one that enjoy the most this story so even a woman voice too can work, but as well, not a grandma voice in here, neither one that sounds like a teacher or a preacher one...I am wondering if there is no young male or female voice actor in this business. Sorry to be so brutal, but the last thing I was expecting to listen was the voice of an old man reciting me erotic scenes ... I can't stand it. In the other hand he will sound amazing if he was reading LA Confidential or any Noire book, or let's say some Agatha Christie Poirot or so on. No disrespect to the age, but is like a parent figure were reading an erotic book to me....no..no..


    Would you listen to another book narrated by Jim Frangione?

    If this is a detective or noire, yes more definitely.


    You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

    I love the book, I hate the audio.
