In a time like the present, three young people dream of the fabulous ruins of a decaying city somewhere in the distant future: the Kalpa. The dreams of Ginny and Jack overtake them without warning, leaving their bodies behind while carrying their consciousnesses forward.

I found myself wishing it would be over so I wouldn't have to work so hard to understand it. It's not over my head exactly but it ceratinly taxed my gig. I ended up not finishing it. One day I'll run out of credits and I'll try again. Great story line though.

As he attempts to halt the Seanchan encroachment northward - wishing he could form at least a temporary truce with the invaders - his allies watch in terror the shadow that seems to be growing within the heart of the Dragon Reborn himself.

If your holding off on this thinking that it won't be the same then don't. This book was excellent. I was worried even though all the reviews were good. I am glad I downloaded it. Brandon Sanderson has my full attention now. He did a masterful job. Thank you Brandon for not letting this be a half hearted job. It must have been difficult.
