"Is he smarter than a 5th grader?"
Not sure. I can't speak for Jonathan Cahn--his credentials are outstanding, and I personally agree with his Messianic views of Jesus. But it is sad that such an accomplished thinker, editor and writer could offer such a poorly written story. Non-existent character development, trudging plot design, and a truly stupid protagonist. Wow. And then this--he's so wrong about America being the only modern-day Israel. God didn't need to jettison his own people to adopt the colonies across the ocean. Keep your eyes on the True Israel! There's enough intrigue and hope to see there!
Develop believable characters. Not an imbecile protagonist, especially since he's supposed to be a notable investigative reporter! Not a high-powered Manhattan editor who happily decides to surrender 15 hours of her day to hear this boring story!
The author should not have read it himself. Not a hint of variance between the voices and accents of the only 3 characters he introduces. I think a 12th grade speech student might've tried harder.
I can't even begin to answer this one.
