Yes. Just when I thought I knew what was coming, it went a different direction. It kept me interested the entire time. I wanted to see how the characters handled each situation.
Slammed of course just due to character age and such. Also the Shattered Series by Cassia Leo.
When Hope finally learned what Dean was holding back.
Absolutely. It took a couple chapters to develop the characters, but then the story drew me in and I wanted to hear what happened next.
This book was much more than I anticipated. I loved the twists in it. Great listen for sure!
Yes. The beginning of the book was a far fetched but once the story fell into place, I loved the characters and wanted to see how it worked out.
Drawing the Line by Kimberly Kincaid because of the storyline of the witness and learning to protect herself.
She brings the main character to life.
It took a bit to get into this storyline. But once it took hold, I wanted to see how it worked out.
This series is one of my favorites.
Pieces of You by Cassia Leo because of the personal struggles of the character.
I thought Kate did a good job with this story. She wasn't my favorite narrator that I have heard, but she was good.
This book followed the emotional roller coaster as well, but I loved it all.
Emotional, Romantic, Courageous
The very end. I don't want to spoil.
Both Evan and Emma were great, but I love Evan's devotion.
Evan just holding her even when he didn't fully understand.
This is just an emotional journey but I loved every minute of it.
Emotional, Romantic, Courageous
Pieces of You by Cassia Leo because of the internal struggles the character endures.
It was close between Emma the main character and Evan. I actually loved Evan's devotion.
I loved this entire series. It was heart wrenching and emotional, but it drew me in.
It was good. It is not something that I would normally have picked from myself. It was on sale so I decided to try it. I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed the story.
The last chapter where the story came to fruition.
Yes. I liked the dynamic between the characters.
Bared to You because of the power struggle between the business exec and the worker.
Not necessarily. I enjoyed it, but not to the point I didn't want to turn it off. It was predictable to me.
It was good, not great, but I did enjoy it. Sex was there, chemistry was there, I just feel the story line lacked a little for me.
Yes. It took a bit to be drawn in to the story line, but after it developed I really was drawn in to the characters.
The dynamic between the two characters. The way the interacted.
I think she added just enough personality to keep the story interesting.
No Turning Back
I really enjoyed this listen.
It had some comedic parts that had me smiling.
Simon. He was charming.
I got a little tired of Clive the cat and hearing about the missing O.
The maturity the characters tried to maintain and how Will had to show Laken why he was really in love with her.
That's tough. I like the neighbor girl, but Will won me over.
Either the girl who did the first book or a different male. He just seemed to rush through the reading and there was no real depth added by him. In the first book, the slams were almost over emphasized. In here he seemed to speed read and force the story. I didn't care for this narration at all.
Yes it butterflying did. A couple of times.
The story was great. It was predictable, but still a good story. It held a few surprises. The narration just really put a damper on my listening to it again.
