For Vito Corleone, nothing is more important than his family's future. While his youngest children, Michael, Fredo, and Connie, are in school, unaware of their father's true occupation, and his adopted son Tom Hagen is a college student, he worries most about Sonny, his eldest child. Vito pushes Sonny to be a businessman, but Sonny - 17 years old, impatient, and reckless - wants something else: To follow in his father's footsteps and become a part of the real family business.

Richard Delman says: "Too many rub outs. Too little originality."

What made the experience of listening to The Family Corleone the most enjoyable?

Being somewhat familiar with the Godfather series this story gets to the early times for Sonny Corleone and his family..

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

Yes, not a problem wanting to know what came next in the life of Corleone family.

What does Bobby Cannavale bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Liked his tone and correct Italian pronouncment of the words. Wish there was more Italian words added in the story, that seems to bring you in the book even more.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Luca and his girlfriend his storyline in particular moved me.

On November 22, 1963, three shots rang out in Dallas, President Kennedy died, and the world changed. What if you could change it back? In this brilliantly conceived tour de force, Stephen King - who has absorbed the social, political, and popular culture of his generation more imaginatively and thoroughly than any other writer - takes listeners on an incredible journey into the past and the possibility of altering it.

Kelly says: "I Owe Stephen King An Apology"
    "Better than expected!"

Where does 11-22-63 rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I'm not usually a Stephen King fan or time traveler reader but this book held my interest through out the entire listen. You could imagine everything leading up to 11-22-63 as being the real story.
    Great Book.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Sadie was my favorite character. Her character was human and warm.

Which character – as performed by Craig Wasson – was your favorite?

Mr Wasson brought out each character to life so it's hard to pick only one.

In 1989 Ken Follett astonished the literary world with The Pillars of the Earth, set in 12th-century England. Readers and listeners ever since have hoped for a sequel. At last, here it is. Although the two novels may be listened to in any order, World Without End also takes place in Kingsbridge, two centuries after the townspeople finished building their exquisite Gothic cathedral. The cathedral is again at the center of a web of love and hate, greed and pride, ambition and revenge.

Laura says: "Repetitive, but still enjoyable"
    "Slow Start"
    Overall

It took me awhile to get into this book. Not as good as Ken follett's campanion book "The Pillars of the Earth". I found I had to repeat part of chapters to keep up with the characters and story line. Not worth the credits.

In the spring of 1974, Calliope Stephanides, a student at a girls' school in Grosse Pointe, finds herself drawn to a chain-smoking, strawberry-blonde classmate with a gift for acting. The passion that furtively develops between them - along with Callie's failure to develop physically - leads Callie to suspect that she is not like other girls. In fact, she is not really a girl at all.

Chris says: "Great Pulitzer Winning novel!"
    "Quite the story!"
    Overall

From the begining this audible book takes your mind back in time to another culture and the journey of the consequence it produces.

The story of the most important political campaign in modern times, by the man who went through it side by side with President Obama.

Susan says: "Fascinating book; don't care for the narration"
    "Informative book"
    Overall

This book gives us (political wonks) great insight into the strategies of their campaign.
It does at times get too technical but it doesn't take long before the the authors bring you back into their heads of winning this campaign.
    Really enjoyed listening.
