The first book of the Immortals After Dark series rates at the top of my list of excellent stories read by great narrators.

I love that the IAD series is set in a contemporary world, just below the radar of humanity.

Where do I start? There isn't a voice or an accent he can't do. He is THE sexiest narrator I've ever listened to, and I've listened to scores of audio books.

Uh, mostly it made we want to keep a cold bottle of water nearby. However, yes, I did laugh and cry. When such a great male narrator can bring a sensuous paranormal romance to life, you just hold on for all you're worth.

I've already read the entire IAD series in paperback and ebook forms. It is one of the best ever written in this genre. Now I'm listening to the audio versions. Robert Petkoff is a rare find in the world of romance narrators. Lovers of erotic romance stories shouldn't miss this opportunity to hear him read A Hunger Like No Other.

The series is sexy, intelligent, clever, adventurous, romantic, and suspenseful. I love the world Lara Adrian wove around her characters.

No. The narrator was poor beyond belief. In addition to errors in reading, repeated sections, and mistakes, it was awful. Buy the book. It is an EXCELLENT story!

Abigail Roux's Cut & Run series...not available on audio. :( A relationship where two people wanted to be together but allowed other issues to get in the way.

The closing scene. I was reduced to tears several times in the book, but the last scene took the cake.

This story was well written. I truly couldn't stand Jonathon in the first few chapters of the book, but found Cole so intriguing. As the story progresses and we see into the men's souls, we understand what make them tick. And we start to care about them. In the end, I'm totally in love with both these men. Beautiful story.

It's more about what I didn't like about the story...neither of the main characters. And when I don't fall in love with the MCs, I just end up not particularly liking the entire story.

First time Chris and JX made love in Chris' room. Explosive.

I've never heard him before. I'd rate him above average, but not spectacular like Shannon Gunn.

No, it was difficult to finish.

I LOVE Josh Lanyon, but I am not fond of this series. Fatal Shadows (Adrien English Mysteries) is far better in my opinion, as is Fair Game and The Ghost Wore Yellow Socks.

I'd rate this book/story at 3-1/2 stars overall.

Perry's spirit and very dry sense of humor, and stone-cold Nicks unthawing the longer he was around Perry.

Fairly good narrator for this story. Would have liked a bit more lower range in his voice, especially for Nick.

I hope there is NEVER a movie made from this wonderful story. Hollywood NEVER gets it right unless the author is in complete control. And unless Josh becomes JK Rowling overnight... that's not going to happen. Leave it be.

A well written murder mystery surrounded by a love story. Well done!

Great mystery romance

I really liked the narrator quite well. I also became quite smitten with Adrien and Detective Jake Riordan. Wonderful main characters.

He made the story come alive. Mr. Lanyon is an incredible writer, and Chris Patton was the icing on the cake.

When the protagonist and antagonist were in the bedroom together, it was pretty tense.

I can hardly wait to read others in the series. Josh Lanyon is one of the best m/m writers out there.

I liked the story, its colorful setting, the realistic characters, and the local language and colloquialisms.

This narrator is worth his weight in gold. A reader can make or break a story, and this man made is seem as if I was watching a movie. His accents were marvelous, as was his tone and cadence. It was also quite sexy!

It was a sweet m/m romance that I would recommend to anyone who reads mainstream erotic romance.

The written story was much better than the audio edition. My listening experience was not nearly as enjoyable as reading the book. Angela Dawe is quite awful.

The whole IAD world. Kresley Cole knows both character and world-building.

A talented, more experienced narrator should have been selected, preferable a man. Angela Dawe reads in a monotone, flat voice. Compared to Robert Petkoff who read A Hunger Like No Other, she reads like a sixth grader.

Many laughs, and several crying jags. A wonderful addition to the series.

Another great addition to the Psy-Changling series. But putting up with monotone narrator Angela Dawe is just about more than I can bear. There are some great narrators out there, and I wish the publisher/author would have engaged an effective narrator.
