This book is so well investigated that I think that I would like a print copy for reference.
The personal stories where the people as sick as they were, and needing help themselves, were trying to do things for the sake of others , I was really impressed at the goodness that this group of people have. I wonder does that trait come before the weed or does the weed help mold the person to be so socially considerate.
This rates about an 8. I love a good dog read.
The narrating character and of course daisy! she was interesting and not too predictable.
I usually listen to books in one sitting but like the story to last as long as possible, so this one was O.K. That way. It was satisfying.
I liked the view point of this story. The secondary plot was informational and sensitive . It was a little hysterical about the inmates issues though.. I would be curious too but didn't really see why she felt so threatened. The relationship with Daisy was fun and a good ride In the positive aspects of helping others and the blessings that so many people can receive just incidentally .It was encouraging and I did look into local volunteering as a trainer in my locality.
This book shows all the different experience that Mr. Romney has in so many aspects of economics and leading people in no nonsense ways. There are so many things to be done and in really a short 4 years but it seems as if he is going to be right in his element. His track record shows a go getter, an extremely common sense kinda guy! I especially like to hear the authors read their own books, you can tell that it is told the way it was thought.
He describes international students studying in our universities and at graduation it is required that they leave the country (I assume for home.) This in comparison to illegal immigrants coming and being covered by our precious entitlement programs. It makes sense that we might like to hold on to the bright ones if we at all could and reform the entry for those who are not contributors to our system. Many of these international students are very serious about their education and work for degrees in the sciences and engineering.
These happen to be the areas that our american students seem to have waning interests despite the potential for such great need and opportunity as a needed piece of our economic recovery.
He wasn't wishy washy about the topics . He had an opinion and then expressed why he felt that way in an easily understood manner . Then he told you how he had done some of these things and how success is not a bad word.
What America Needs in our President!
I just really liked the book ,it was easy to understand, and I learned a lot !!!!!
I really like his no nonsense approach, and that he isn't hesitant to make a change if it makes more sense.
this is an easy listen and fascinating group of stories. I also like it when an author reads their own work and this is extra nice because of his familiar voice.
