Listening to the book was like hearing an interesting, rambling conversation with Neal. I enjoyed the stories he told and the history of his life; however, I though the book was going to give details of Pono, Young's new audio format. Instead it discussed how good Pono is but gave no details as to format, equipment needed to play it or any additional data. The same was true about his electric car.

I would recommend the book to any fan of Neil Young for the life story it tells.

All were interesting and I especially liked the new picture of Paul, not as a male chauvinist, but as a real man who valued women as essentially equal to men.

I have long questioned much of what was written in the New Testament. I believe Jesus was one of the greatest people who ever lived; however, I have felt his life was misrepresented by many of the writings of the New Testament. This book confirms much of what I, Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, and other founding fathers believed of the New Testament.

Any document written over one hundred years after events must be filled with what the writers thought, not what actually occurred,

Mr. Harris addressed tough issues that most would be afraid to discuss.

I appreciated the honesty to address what many of us feel but are not comfortable to discuss openly.

Yes, the story proved to be exciting and kept my attention throughout. I found the main characters to be well developed and their interactions realistic.

The ship's captain who was put in an imposible position seemed to use great logic in finding solutions where none seemed possible

No, this was the first. I found the reader to be clear and deliberate.

The book made me think much about how we would handle a situation of first contact with an alien world. I woul hope we would do better.

A long book, but worth the time.

It is amoung the top five. I found it to be exciting and action filled. The only negative was the fact that the main characters were able to escape so many close calls with minimal damage.

Tom Clancy's works are similarily exciting.

I started reading the book in hardcover while staying ata rench in New Mexico, and had to finish it with Audible.

I have read several books about religions and wanted to hear a Christian minister’s point of view. I was pleased to hear Mark Driscoll’s statement in the opening chapter that a common problem with religions is that each religion thinks theirs is the only way to interpret God’s word.
To my disappointment the remainder of the book discussed why Mr. Driscoll’s point of view is the only way to worship God.

I was expecting an anti-religious dialogue; however, I found myself repeatedly saying, “I feel the same way”.

The author clearly makes the point that religions have so many contradictions in their message that thinking people cannot understand what the message really is; while others pick and choose what they believe from the contradictions. These people often become a part of the religious fringe that drives so many others from the good things that many religions offer.

I enjoyed and learned much about religions that I had not known. I also found the Mr. Harris had done his research well when I checked his statements.

I found The Worst Hard Time to be interesting and entertaining. However, the fact that the reader mispronounced most of the names of the towns was quite annoying to someone who lives in the Texas Panhandle and knows the correct pronunciation.

I believe this book is a thoughtful analysis of one of the greatest threats to our democracy.

I recently asked a holocaust survivor if he saw any similarities between what is going on in America today compared to Fascist Europe of the late 1930s. He said there is NO difference.
