I just started this book yesterday, and it's quite interesting. I'll finish part 1 tomorrow and look forward to the rest of the book.
Inspirational to hear how she made the best of a bad situation.
I didn't care for the narrator.
A Test of Faith
Not sure about the narrator. I think someone else could have been chosen.
I love the way Sophie Kinsella writes. I never saw the end coming for this book.
Yes - John Taylor's narration was fantastic. I just finished listening to a different book, and the narrator was so slow. John kept the flow going.
Like Rob Lowe's autobiography, which my husband I really liked, too.
He talked about his struggles with addiction to alcohol and drugs, which are common not only with performers but other people, as well.
I've only listened to the first of two parts, but this is a great book. I saw Peggy a few months ago on MSNBC's Morning Joe show.
She's very fierce.
I bought this book last week, and my husband started to listen to it before I did! I'm enjoying the book so far.
I studied Spanish, so I'm not bothered by the French. The book was interesting, and I'm glad I listened to it.
It's much better than Olive Kittridge.
My book club chose this - yuck. If I could rate this with zero stars, I would. I like to read happy books - this is not a happy book. Each chapter is very sad. A total downer of a book. I have to recommend the next book, so I'll make sure I pick something fun/mindless.
