"A real Demon"
I like Demon, but I like Flick even more. I like his temper and the fact that she is not intimated. The series has detailed sex scenes, so prepare for it. It still comes across as very romantic. Simon Prebble's narration is incredible. This story has a great storyline. One thing I noticed was that Demon's father was barely mentioned in this story. Seems odd. Otherwise....I love this series.
"Absolutely the best adult book!"
Lora Leigh is not for everyone. The love scenes are graphic and intense, but make no mistake....the scenes are about love. The characters are so into each other....they can not help it. This story is one of my favorites. Jonas and his mate are perfectly suited for each other. I have read all of Lora Leigh's books....even the earlier ones....and I would love to listen to all of them again on audible. Keep them coming audible. Every last one of them are excellent adult erotic romances. I can't wait until you do the navy seal stories.....especially the WILD CARD.
"Holy Hannah"
I have read every single book this author has written. Her books are definitely sexual in nature. However....I like the intensity of this need that the breeds develop for their mates. This is hard core, but it is based on a need to be with the one they love.
The series changes things up as it goes on, but I hope that audible to post all of the books....there are several that come before Megan's book. Warning for readers! These books are highly erotic in nature and very explicit.
"This is wild!"
This book is one of my favorites. I love it when the heroine knows her mind. Simon Prebble is probably my favorite narrator....he has taught me so much about the english language. Beautifully done.
"It was wicked!!"
I really enjoy Lauren's book and I especially like the narrator. It drives me crazy when they change narrators with their novels. He is definitely someone you should listen to....but the book is great. I love it when the hero is being setup and tortured by the heroine. She knew before he does that they were meant to be....great continuation of the Cynster novels. The love scenes were great...smile.
"Intense"
I thought this book had just the right amount of intensity. I like stories where the man can not help himself. He feels drawn to the woman over and over despite his best intentions. The narrator does a decent job with the female voices and she makes an effort to make the words come alive, but the males voices come across unfeeling. I enjoyed listening to the story and finished it in 2 days. The concept for how vampires were made makes a lot more sense than the original story and makes wanting to become a vampire easier....smile. Good story....looking forward to listening to more from this author.
"He was not the scandal...she was"
This is my favorite book. The passion and sex scenes in this series is starting to become more detailed. Not a problem for me, Simon Prebble makes everything sound so passionate anyway. Scandal's Bride has a twist in that she comes to him the first three times. I thought it was a wonderful twist. I like to hear the details of a marriage sometimes instead of always reading about the courtship. This was a great book!
"I will take a rake anytime"
Vane was perhaps my favorite character so far in this series. It is hilarious that he leaves London trying to get away from temptation only to become trapped immediately. If he had stayed in London he would not have met with fate. I like the message of fate. I like the humor in the story and the Aunt is a great character. I also like the development of the characters, especially the male characters. Often the story is told from the female characters point of view, but I love knowing how the man feels. I also like knowing that there is no doubt about where this relationship will end.....in marriage. Wish real life were that way!
"Devilishly interesting"
I thought the back and forth between the main characters was amusing. They both felt they had the right to protect the other. These books are so old fashioned in their ideals about the roles of women and men. I like that the women are uniquely independent and passionate. While they are innocent, they are intelligent and independent thinkers...which sets them apart from the pack. Good read, even better listen with Simon Prebble as narrator.
"A Sweetly romantic tale"
I thought this was a great beginning to a series that simple got better with each novel. The idea of meeting someone when you are so young and sharing a kiss that promises or hints at a life of love. It was sweetly romantic, but my favorite part is the narration...Simon Prebble is simply great! He makes the story. Best narrator I have heard on audible!
