"Good way to get through a workday"
I enjoyed the story itself, though I could have handled less information about the children's lessons and mealtimes in return for more magic and adventure, though the chemistry between the hero and heroine was sizzilng. The narrator gave a solid performance, though her male voices sounded a little too growly for my taste. All in all, a pleasant listen during the workday.
"Fascinating and Educational"
Despite not knowing much more than the very basics about the Madoff Scandal or the finances behind it, I found this a truly interesting book that did a very good job explaining the more detailed information in a way that was accessible. I would have liked more information on Madoff himself, rather than the numbers. Scott Brick, as ever, did a wonderful job as narrator, and the addition certain documents being read by Harry Markopolos, Gaytri Kachroo and testimony by several Madoff victims rounded out the production very nicely.
"Not my cup of tea, but brilliantly read."
While Matheson's work, specifically his shorter works, are not my personal favorite, they are stunningly written and very moving tales, and Scott Brick's reading is, as ever, flawless. I know this will be a must for Matheson devotees.
