    Very informative. The author gives a lot of insight into the way that Steve Jobs thinks. It certainly explains why Apple sometimes makes some decisions that are clearly not to the advantage of its customers. It also explains well how Steve Jobs is a master showman.

    A sequel to Tai-pan, this is the sixth novel in Clavell's Asian saga and takes place in 1862. The gai-jin (foreigners) have arrived, intent on doing business with the Japanese.     Like another reviewer said, I wanted to experience Gai-Jin after Tai-Pan to get a sense of continuity after Tai-Pan and before Noble House. This was HORRIBLE. I wasted my credits. About 1/3 of the way through, I stopped listening and moved on to other things.

    I am listening to Noble House right now. So far it is great.
