In Dad is Fat, stand-up comedian Jim Gaffigan, who’s best known for his legendary riffs on Hot Pockets, bacon, manatees, and McDonald's, expresses all the joys and horrors of life with five young children - everything from cousins ("celebrities for little kids") to toddlers’ communication skills ("they always sound like they have traveled by horseback for hours to deliver important news"), to the eating habits of four-year-olds ("there is no difference between a four-year-old eating a taco and throwing a taco on the floor").

Sean says: "Good for Gaffigan fans - better for expecting dads"

Just as Jane Jameson’s unlife seems to be stabilizing, fate sinks its fangs firmly into her butt. Despite her near-phobia of wedding planning, her no-frills nighttime nuptials to her sexy boyfriend, Gabriel, are coming along smoothly. That is, until she turns a fatally wounded teenage acquaintance, and the Council pronounces her responsible for the newborn vamp until he can control his thirst.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes! While I am quite sure this book is note for everyone, I absolutely loved the 4th book in the Jane Jameson series. I have found all of Molly Harper's books to be a joy to listen to and a simple/quick read.

What other book might you compare Nice Girls Don't Bite Their Neighbors to and why?

Janet Evanovich, the characters are light and comically screw up.
Stephanie Meyers books because they are vampire tales with happy/optimistic more lite spin on vampire novels.

    Which scene was your favorite?

Oh I don't remember I have read two more Molly Harper books since listening to this one.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No, I tend to only want to listen to very suspenseful books in one sitting and Molly Harper is pretty predictable by her 8th book I've read.

    Any additional comments?

    Absolutely loved it!
