"My first Lorraine Heath."
An interesting diversion.
Easy to follow.
Yes! She is remarkably talented and my favorite narrator. Ms. Erickson's british accent was spot on and smoothly delivered.
Not really.
"Deceptive!"
No.
The romance was between women.
Flat.
All of them.
I stopped listening when I realized that the romance was between 2 women. The synopsis gave no clue to the stories most important content. I should have read All of the reviews.
"Misleading"
The story was weak and the summary of the books accolades were misleading. Although I've listened to stories by this narrator, I found this story was told with a mundane, uninteresting performance, which, in fairness to the narrator, may have been due to the story itself. The fact that it received such a high rating is a mystery. The story lacked form and flow with a vague uninteresting plot. The fact that I am returning this book says it all. Don't waste your money on this one.
Doubtful.
There could have been a story line and plot .
Very disappointing!
Couldn't wait for the romance and intrique to begin. It did not.
"Just didn't do it for me."
Maybe, but unlikely.
Possibly, if the ratings were good and the synopsis was of interest to me.
Yes
I don't really know.
"Almost as good as the first 7."
I like the warmth and caring of the community.
The setting is familiar and makes me long to return to this beautiful place.
Liked all of them.
Yes.
"Worth a listen."
It was a good read. The characters were mostly believable and the story had a appreciable level of mystery and surprises. I don't think I would have made the title character so flawed and inept.
Some what.
No, this was the first.
No.
