Arthur doesn't think he'll have to return to the strange house that nearly killed him on Monday, the house that contains an entire world. But Tuesday brings new challenges: the enemy Grim Tuesday, who threatens the well-being of both Arthur's family and his world. Arthur must retrieve the Second Key from Grim Tuesday in order to save everything; an adventure that will include stealing a Sunship, fighting the void-like Nithlings, and traveling in the scary Far Reaches for the ultimate showdown.

The second book in the Keys to the kingdom is another example of Garth Nix's originality in the Sci-Fi world. As with all of his series you must read in a linear pattern -start with the first book in order to understand what?s going on in the second book. The book moves at a fairly fast past and is easy to get involved in. There is very little "gore" or "Romance", making this book perfect for the sensitive 10 year old.
The narrator also dose a good job bringing the characters emotions out.

On his deathbed, Leodan puts into play a plan to allow his children to escape, each to his separate destiny. And so his children begin a quest to avenge their father's death and restore the Acacian empire, this time on the basis of universal freedom.

    "Bad Dramatizations"
    Overall

When I first started listing to the book I thought I had downloaded a dramatize version. But no, the narator was just trying thier best to make up for poor reading ablity. Two hours and I still can not stand listing to the man!

Example: He lived(reader pronouces the word with a long I) here many years ago. That and many other things mske listing to this book unbearable.
I gave it 2 stars instead of none becase the story may be good.....
