"Needs an editor - Bad."
If it would get to the point and help you to see the path to becoming a Linchpin would help. It talks in general observations about the world and repeats itself.
He beat around the message and never really gives it to you.
Get a pro to read it.
NA
Could be so much better and so much shorter.
"Good ideas, Lags in middle, highly edited voice."
Yes, this is time well spent. I would recommend this book.
It starts off good, but really drops off as the concepts that you are learning become really basic in the middle. The foundation is good.
I don't thing that I have listened to a book with more injected words. It is just too many. It is understandable that changes were made and they did not want to re-record the entire book, but the edits really add no value and it is mostly just one or two words each time. It is almost a demonic kind of injection...:)
People must believe that you have the power to effect them and if you are fully present, with warmth, you got charisma.
"From a real writer"
Yes. If you need an "I can do it" kick, this is a good read
Natalie is great to connect with in her story.
She has a lot of personality in her reading, because it is about her and her core.
You are great if you will just show others, they will love you and what you do.
If you are trying to write a book, I would recommend this one. She is cool and easy to fall in love with as you connect with her story. The theme is just write. Volume is king and being open and raw is the key. Read this book to write yours, but also just read this book for the fun of it. Let a new friend in your car - you will enjoy it.
"Quality if you are looking for understanding"
The quality of thought was high. I enjoyed the value these two guys bring to the thinking of the time.
It is not about characters, but themes Christ brought to the world and the various take each Godspell writer had on them.
Justice through peace or Justice through violence.
It made me think. I like to listen to a book that gives me a new thought that I had not had myself. There are a few good nuggets in this book.
This is worth it. I generally like this type of book, but most times these type writers will be too high brow or pompous to be worth the time. These guys are just trying to explain.
They also do not seem to have an agenda of converting your or proving that God does not exist. The are reflective with context.
"Two visit a monastery"
Not really. There are better stories.
Good.
It was OK. It was not as much the reader as the writer, but I lost who was who. I listen to books a good deal and this is not usually a problem.
No. It was finished.
They made a movie of this book. Start with the movie...
"Powerfull Story - 10 hour version"
This is a quality story about people. Struggle, intrigue, politics, character - it has it all. One of Follet's best.
Not religious. I recommend it - you will not want to turn your car off.
"Makes you think, powerful, fun."
Don reads his own book and because of that he really makes it. The voice tone and inflection adds something that I did not expect. His cadence and flow make this GREAT story even better. I am sorry, but I don't get the title. The book has nothing to do with bikes, time or traveling.
It reminds you to live a good life, to live a good story - a story worth telling. It is a very human book.
"Phone Interview - Really Bad"
This is a waste of money and time. The guy give no insight and the audio is bad. At one point they have to put the phone down because the dog is barking. It tries to talk about presentations at work, but has nothing to offer.
