I am not a big fan of the zombie apocalypse take genre and this borders on that so it is very interesting read.
I was good to hear a fresh story. In what might have lagged in a traditional plot is intriguing to see how the author navigates a lesbian relationship w a badass lead.
I have enjoyed this series quite a bit and this book did not disappoint. Alison is a fun character that is not a swooner but a (sometimes) tough chick. It does not require a huge commitment, it is a light easy mystery. I really do not mean that comment in any sort of derogatory way, sometimes you just want a book that is lighter.
I love when there are conversations going on that not everyone in the room is involved in. They are well written and fun to listen to.
What's dead got to do with it?
Here's their story.
Hard to say without giving away story line. I wish I could have heard more about the Polly character though.
Lee delivers the presence of a mountain person without making any of them sound ignorant (except for the ones that ARE ignorant!).
Actually I did listen to it in one sitting, one a day of travel! The stories move between characters and make you feel that you are mixing it up quite a bit. If you are going on a long car ride or several planes, this would be a perfect read!
This book was a recommendation from a friend and I am so grateful for it!
Not necessarily a moment but the subtle tie ins to how Lincoln developed opinions on different subjects based on his experiences. I thought those were great.
Little too late for this question.
If you love history, but are down to get your fiction on, then this is a great book for you!
Among other autobiographies I would rank this book in the top ten.
I liked the fact that they were honest about their story even when it might have been uncomfortable to do so.
Yes and I appreciated how they remembered things differently.
No, actually it is better to take it in pieces. You don't want to listen to your uncle tell you his entire life story in one sitting do you?
Absolutely! It completely pulls you into the experience of the characters. The author does not dwell on over explaining details but lets the reader figure it out, which I really appreciated!
Appropriate. The ending did not drag on, but wrapped up and left me wanting more!
Hard to select just one she was fantastic, but the Berry sisters were a lot of fun!
I enjoyed this book very much and can't wait to dive into the next one.
If you have invested time in the previous books then yes.
The constant retelling of the previous books stories. I found this to be overdone to the point of annoying.
Sultry Smooth and Southern
Sure absolutely, Serinda Swan would be great as the Spyder
The developing relationship of teacher and apprentice. They are becoming a team which is fun. Any scene with Oberon is fantastic! Sausages!
Bite me, by Christopher Moore, because it is fun and funny and just because someone does something that may appear wrong doesn't make them evil.
Yes, all of the previous Iron Druid books. This book falls right in line with the rest, fantastic and fun.
I did break out laughing in the middle of Costco!
I enjoyed this audio immensely! Witty and fun with respect for the basis of anyone's belief system. I was concerned by some of the less positive reviews but was pleasantly entertained by this listen.
