I was a big fan of Zombie Fallout and the character of Mike Talbot. This book does not disappoint, from start to end it was gripping, funny and a great listen. Sean Runnette does another great job with the story and characters. Will definitely listen to all three.
Overall I enjoyed this dimensional travel story. The author developed interesting characters and a story line. I will continue on with the series.
I love the first three Indian Hills books, maybe more then Zombie Fallout. I was happy to see Mark Tufo return to the story where it left off. The 4th installment picks up where the third ended and while a great listen is a little off from the first three. None the less I love the adventures of Mike Talbot and gang. I often find myself laughing out loud and love how Tufo is able to take the same group of characters and put them in completely different stories. The lap-overs are always nice to see and bring back memories of the other stories. Keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing Michael's next story. As always Sean Runnette rocks, I could not image Mark's books without him.
To be up front, I thought the first book was entertaining, but I have listened to better audio books. None the less it kept me engaged enough to continue the series. Well that ends with the second book. I am amazed I made it to the end and several time thought of stopping the book as the word painful comes to mind. But it would pick up a little and I would keep going. The story line itself is nothing new and just normal. The real problem is the characters, I just did not care if they lived or died. Their stories did not capture my interest and they were not developed in a may that kept my attention. For this reason I will not be continuing the story and will seek out some other Zombie books, ones where my credits provide more enjoyment.
I like the different twist on the zombie novel genre. Having a government somewhat prepared for such an event. Great story, interesting characters and we'll read
What's not to like about Captain Harden a kick ass soldier in a world gone to crap. Like most zombie stories, the creatures fall back as simple background story and the real fight is between the humans. This of course is why I like the genera so much, all about survival. I look forward to continuing the series.
I watch True Blood and really like the TV series. The TV show stayed very close to the book, but as it was a few years since I saw season 1 it was a nice refresher. I will continue with book 2, but hope the TV show deviated a little and I get more story out of the book series.
Another great story from Mark Tufo. I loved getting to see Michael Talbot again in a different story line, although connected to Zombie Fallout. The book says you don't have to have read Zombie Fallout, which is true. But I recommend you finish that series first, as there are lots of references.
I enjoyed this Zombie story, not the best I ever heard. But it falls into the entertaining category and I will continue with the series.
It has been a long time since I picked up a Stephen King book, and this one brought back why I love his writing so much. The character development and pace of the story are great. I was entertained right till the end. I loved the long length of the book, felt like a great deal.
Overall I have enjoyed the Walking Dead Audiobook series, but they could be much better. I am a huge fan of the TV series, but the books hit a mediocre level. I suspect they are thrown together to simply make some cash of the success of other parts of the franchise. Don't get me wrong, I have heard worse stories and will buy part 2 to this book, but I have other zombie novels I like much better. Check out Zombie Fallout for a well written series.
