This is book is not a good choice if you are looking for an action novel. If you are interested in ideas for how to survive and End Of Days scenario, it is OK. The authors other book, How to Survive the End of the World As We Know It, Is a far better choice. Rawles may be a good survivalist, and manual writer, a novelist he is not. It does drag a bit....
This book was ok. Characters lack depth, and lack any level of maturity.
I felt like I was swapping war stories with a buddy. Choke me up a few times, and made me laugh out loud too! It does bring up a lot of memories.
I liked the book pretty well, but got tired of the hero touting - Not realistic that only a few people do everything - Lead characters placed in easily avoidable crisis - Failed to develop characters, etc.
Moved along pretty well, and kept me interested. I will probably look for more books about North Korea now.
