Better than average, but not my favourite

Can't spoil the ending......

I found the starting point for the relationship between Burke and Remi too hard to swallow, whilst I was waiting for them to get together, I kept thinking how totally unrealistic it was.

Nora Roberts makes you imagine the feelings that you would have if your entire identity was questioned and takes on the journey with Cally to find the truth. Loved the ending when hard choices had to be made by Cally.

Not one of my favourite Nora Roberts books, but a gook look at family loyalty versus morality.

Parker was my favourite character and it was fitting that her story was the final one in the series to tie them all together.

Even though the author gives you a hint of who committed the crime has an excellent storyline with a great ending. Good main character.

Loved that I could really get to know all the characters through the four books.

Phoebe McNamara is a good strong character with a past that paved the way for her future. I like the strong family ties that Nora Roberts created in this book.

It is just comforting when you get to the end of the first book to know that you still had three more to go before the story ends.

I liked that Carter was not the perfect man and Mac saw the man on the inside

Ryder was my favourite character, he was rough around the edge and required taming and hope was just the character to do it.

I liked that Claire had a past, that added complications to a new relationship. The story got me right in and it was lovely to know that it was only the first in the series.
