Thank you Mr. Patterson! It is always a pleasure to read your books but this one it was at the very end that I got the who and the why. I usually can figure out the why or the who just before you comfirm the fact but with this book I was not sure until you told me who and why! I had so much fun with this book that I read it twice. I like all your books but this one was the best so far for me.

Kay is the new and inproved Dr. of the dead. She is way more hands on and fun with all the characters she happens to come in contact with. I liked her spirit and her family and her friends. If I sound as if she is real that is because the story and the reader make it seem so real that you buy into the life the Dr. The story is fresh and not the kind that you guess the plot before you get out the first chapter. I want more books from this author!

I was not a fan for this author but I heard Stephen King speak well of her and I love King! So I gave her a try. Wow! have I been missing something! I will go read more of her books. I was swepted away with this story and was hurt when the it ended. I wanted to stay in the story. I liked the characters and I liked the reader. This was good book.

I got this book because it was on the best sellers list. Wow! I was shocked by the information and the story line but I could not stop listening to this book. It has made some things about faith that I had problems with seem to really be validated. If you are holy roly christian then you should not read this book but if you are aware of your faith and have strong spiritual insight than this is the book you! If you are not sure where you are then start with the basic this is too much information for you. If you are smart you will read this book like you eat chicken. Eat the chicken and leave the bones. It is a good read! I read it six times and keep it on my desktop to play when I work. I really love the book!

I read this book and found it long! Then I was bored and read it again when I had the time to really listen and Wow! This is a good book if you like spy stories and information about how the goverment works and the way other countries see and help. Maybe you just want to learn some history. Want to travel and need a feel for other contries. Its all in this book and Oh Yeah, there is a story to and you will be surprised at how it unfolds. A Good book.

I was surprised the first time I read this author but did not think it would be as much fun. The first time is special and the joy of the story and the characters is more about you discovering who they are and what is happening. So a follow up book with the same characters is less thrilling. How wrong could my thinking be! I found more about the characters to love and they have evoled and I was lost in the story with friends that were or did change as we went along. Taking me deeper to their lives and given me the reader an adventure and mystery seeming to fell like it was in my life as well as in the book. I read it three times because it was so good and not a re-run bore. Thank you!

Wow this is a fun read. The pace is fast and the action and details fun to hear and think about. I could just see in my mind the town and the people. It was serious and funny at the same time. The reader really sets the listerner up for a surprise. You will not want to stop reading it and I found myself standing in the street lost in the story and what was happening. I want to hear more books like this!

Wow its our hero Jack. The joy is he is still Jack but he does not remember the pass. I was ready to toss this aside. I am over joyed I did not! The Black House is stranger the fiction and the story is off the wall but the adventure of the pass is running in and out of this mystery and soon you find that it is the high point of the Great advenutre of the pass. You can never go back to childhood so you learn to live as an adult and find that Jack has done the same with you. Read the book to understand.
