In The Wind Through the Keyhole, Stephen King has returned to the rich landscape of Mid-World. This story within a story within a story finds Roland Deschain, Mid-World’s last gunslinger, in his early days during the guilt-ridden year following his mother’s death. Sent by his father to investigate evidence of a murderous shape-shifter, a "skin-man", Roland takes charge of Bill Streeter, a brave but terrified boy who is the sole surviving witness to the beast’s most recent slaughter.

What made the experience of listening to The Wind Through the Keyhole the most enjoyable?

I enjoyed the return to mid-world and all of its mysteries. The chance to hear from Roland and his Ka-Tet one more time is amazing.

What did you like best about this story?

Simply the return to a well loved story, and those characters I have missed since the dark Tower 7. Some of the sequence involving Merlyn is pretty cool, that was one of the long gaps I had always been curious about.

What does Stephen King bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I don't mind Stephen reading the story, and you can hear subtle differences in the characters and how they act and sound with Stephens own reading. Though I would have loved to hear Guidall read this one, as I came to know Roland and his group in Guidalls voice.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I loved the Tiger at the Dogan sequence, very cool tie in to the original series.

    Any additional comments?

This is a great story and interesting to learn more of Roland and his life's history. I would have loved to have more story about Roland, Jake, Susana, and Eddie as their appearance is brief (by design). But this does not detract from the return to mid world. I hope there are yet more opportunities to vist Roland.....I say Thank Ya' !

On an entirely normal, beautiful fall day in Chester's Mill, Maine, the town is inexplicably and suddenly sealed off from the rest of the world by an invisible force field. Planes crash into it and fall from the sky in flaming wreckage, a gardener's hand is severed as "the dome" comes down on it, people running errands in the neighboring town are divided from their families, and cars explode on impact. No one can fathom what this barrier is, where it came from, and when - or if - it will go away.

I love to read Stephen King and this one did not dissappoint. Well crafted story and as usual for Stephen King there are great twists and surprising turns on every page. Characters are strong and the sub plot of small town politics is amazing and intersting to say the least. If you appreciate Stephen King or others with his style definitly check this out.

When hunters from around the world gather in Las Vegas for a conference, a creature left over from a World War Two weapons experiment wakes up and goes on a rampage across the desert. A not-so-friendly wager between the rival companies turns into a race to see who can bag the mysterious creature first. Only there is far more to this particular case than meets the eye, and as Hunters fall prey to their worst nightmares, Owen Zastava Pitt and the staff of Monster Hunter International have to stop an ancient god from turning Sin City into a literal hell on earth.

This series is amazing! Best if you read the first three books first so you dont miss any of the essential back story. The story of "Z" is amazing. I hope this is not the final installment as I truly enjoy these stories. I would recommend this series to anyone who enjoys action with some fantasy elements. These are well written and have the right amount of realism and fantasy to make a fun and exicting listen. The narrator is amazing! The voices given to the characters have become the only way I can imagine these characters. This is a fun read!
