Andy Barber has been an assistant district attorney in his suburban Massachusetts county for more than 20 years. He is respected in his community, tenacious in the courtroom, and happy at home with his wife, Laurie, and son, Jacob. But when a shocking crime shatters their New England town, Andy is blindsided by what happens next: his 14-year-old son is charged with the murder of a fellow student.

Where does Defending Jacob rank among all the audiobooks you???ve listened to so far?

Defending Jacob ranks high on my list right along with Jodi Picoult's novels.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Defending Jacob?

Blood spatter on Jacob't swim trunks.

    Which scene was your favorite?

    courtroom

If you could take any character from Defending Jacob out to dinner, who would it be and why?

Most probably it would be Andrew. For a D.A., he is very unassuming and loyal to a fault.

    Any additional comments?

    I highly recommend this novel.

Music has set the tone for most of Zoe Baxter’s life. And it’s music that brings her back to love. When fertility issues lead to a divorce, Zoe throws herself into her career as a music therapist. As an unexpected friendship with a woman slowly blossoms into love, she makes plans for a new life, but to her shock and inevitable rage, some people - even those she loves and trusts most - don’t want that to happen.

    "another brilliant work!"

Jodi never fails to meet expectations. Though fiction, this as prior works by Jodi address modern day/current dilemmas that our society experiences. Very well written and narrated. Compelling and exciting leaving you wish for more.
